Thank you for your interest in our scholarship program.  Our applications are now closed for the 2024 fall academic year.  Our next scholarship applications will open in April 2025.

Provincial Credit Union continues to be committed to our local communities by investing in our youth as they move forward with their post-secondary education. If you are a grade 12 student on Prince Edward Island and are planning on attending a recognized post-secondary institution in the fall of 2024, or if you are a returning student, please check out our scholarship application details below.

Scholarships Available

We have three (3) different categories available for high school graduating students enrolled in a post-secondary, college or university program and who meet the applicant eligibility.

• Community Leadership Scholarship @ $2,000 each
  
  
• Classic Scholarship @ $2,000 each
  
  
• Loyal 2 Local Scholarship @ $500 each

We have one (1) available for a student who has already completed at least one year of a post-secondary program and is returning in September 2024 and who meet the applicant eligibility.

• Building Your Community Scholarship @ $2,000 each

Application Eligibility

Students who wish to submit their application must meet the following eligibility criteria :

• Applicant, parent, or legal guardian must be a member of Provincial Credit Union for at least six months.
  
  
• Applicant must be planning to attend a recognized university or college for the 2024-2025 school year. A list of recognized institutions is available here.

Application Process

Students who wish to submit an application for a scholarship may do so by completing the online application form.  New this year, we have partnered with the PEI Community Foundation to manage the application process.  All links to our available scholarships including details and application forms are available through the PEI Community Foundation's portal.  You will need to create an account in order to apply for any of our scholarships. Students may apply for more than one providing they meet the qualifications.  Only one scholarship will be awarded per individual.

Applications for Provincial Credit Union’s scholarships are open Monday April 8^th until Friday, May 3^rd, 2024.
